It was first my sons Master ParthChawan.Physician Dr. Thakkar suggested to Dr. Mohini Shah for Parth’sspeech delay in Dec 2014.Ever since weare connected with her. Her methodology as therapist shown all positive changes in our son over the years without prescribing any medicines. We are heartily thankful to her as a doctor and a person.

Our sincere thanks to Audiologist – Miss Mohini Shah. Her guidance, support, efficiency and effort has helped significantly to improve the hearing ability of my lovely daughter. I was been referred to her by the cochlear implant team of Dr Kirtane based in Mumbai. She did thorough test and evaluation of my daughter hearing levels before the implantation stage and guided us to the complete process till cochlear implantation. After successful implantation, she was been responsible for tuning the device into multiple steps (Mapping process) which helped her in smoothly getting accustomed to different sounds. This is essential to maximize the successful implantation. This involves a lot of time, patience and requires much co-operation, we really appreciate her effort to make this journey fun-filled for my Daughter! Through regular visits, the audiologists monitored the progress using various types of the hearing tests.
She also guided us on how to effective use of the implant both at home and at school (visited school and advised teachers for getting better result from my daughter), giving families ideas and advice about getting the best out of the device. She worked closely with the Speech and Language Therapist to monitor child’s progress over time.
We are one among several satisfied clients for providing endless caring, comfort, and services that have transformed my daughter’s hearing ability and life. Many thanks!!

We came to know about Kshitij's hearing loss when he was 18 months old. It was really devastating situation for us as any parent would have been in similar situation but soon, we accepted it and within 3 months only Kshitij was operated with Cochlear implant in his right ear. We thought that everything is all ok now BUT honestly our true journey just started with his implant.

Post implant we started Kshitij's speech therapy at Aarambh with Mohini maam. Since she has been with us with Kshitij's development journey. She would pick up my panic calls late night and guided me thoroughly whenever it was needed. She would visit us with senior doctor/audiologist to review Kshitij's condition. She would have been always supportive with us whatever decision we have taken for Kshitij so far.

As a parent we thought that once the implant is done half of the battle is won BUT I must say that it is always been joint efforts which as parent we put up along with the audiologist/therapist. Our journey so far has been really a roll coster ride and without Mohini maam, it would have been really difficult for us to reach the stage where we are today. It has been more than 3.5 years since implant and Kshitij is progressing day by day. He loves listening rhymes, playing with other kids, swimming, baking. he's been communicating more with sign and we are encouraging him to say words along with sign. Listening ability has opened many doors for him and he is discovering each day as it come! 🙂

I really appreciate Mohini maam's effort in our journey. Whenever we will talk about Kshitij's hearing and development journey, it will be impossible to end it without mentioning Mohini maam.

It has been only a year and half that we started visiting Aarambh for Audiometry and Speech therapy for our four-year-old child.
During this time, we have always received the timely advice, guidance and support of Mohini mam in terms of regular monitoring of the hearing status of our child, keeping the hearing aids up to date, Audio visual therapy and Speech therapy and Cochlear Implant Consultation.
